Overview
What is atdev.blog?
atdev.blog isn't a tech blog you read just for fun. It's where I write down how I use AI, developer tools, and automation to solve very specific work problems — from writing specs, test cases, and estimates to deploying, debugging, and managing projects.
The goal is simple: you read it and can apply it right away. Three things go together here.
Articles
Real-world AI workflow and project notes, drawn from actual projects — not abstract theory.
ExploreTools
Free developer tools that run right in your browser; your data never leaves your machine.
ExploreGames
Logic games that build thinking skills for kids and learners, with an educator's perspective.

Why does atdev.blog exist?
I'm a project manager who came up from a developer background, now working at a technology company. Because I started in code, I understand both sides: hands-on building systems with Laravel and Odoo, handling deployment and database optimization — and leading projects through specs, test cases, estimates, release notes, and bridging directly with clients as a BrSE (bridge engineer).
When AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and NotebookLM arrived, I noticed a very real problem: everyone talks about AI, but few turn it into an actual workflow.
Many developers open ChatGPT, ask a few questions, then go back to doing things manually. Many PMs/BAs know AI can write specs or test cases, but the output comes out so generic they rewrite it until nothing is saved. AI stays in a separate tab, disconnected from the real work.
The problem isn't a lack of prompts. It's the gap between “knowing” and “being able to use it” — in how you build context, write prompts, and organize a workflow so AI's output becomes something you can actually use.
atdev.blog exists to close exactly that gap. I write down how I actually used AI and tools on real projects — with context, process, and results, from the things I have done and gotten wrong. Not a list of prompts to copy and forget.
AI in action
From an idea on paper to a game that actually runs
Secret Squares started as nothing more than a rough sketch on paper. I used AI as leverage to build it into a logic game that's actually live: with puzzles, levels, a scoring system, and a backend API. That's how I use AI — not stopping at Q&A, but turning an idea into a product you can actually play.

What I share
AI Workflow
How to use Claude, ChatGPT, and NotebookLM in real work — not just a list of prompts to copy. I focus on the harder part: how to build context, write the right prompt for each problem, organize a workflow, and turn AI output into something usable. There is AI for DEV (code generation, debugging, review), AI for PM/BA (specs, test cases, estimates, reports), and automation flows that boost daily productivity.
Read articlesDeveloper Tools
A set of free tools that help devs move faster on everyday repetitive tasks: processing JSON, CSV, cleaning and formatting text, converting formats, generating hashes, QR codes, and more. Everything is built to just open and use, no sign-up needed. Most important for privacy: all processing happens right on your machine — the data you enter never leaves your browser.
Open toolsProject Notes (Laravel / Odoo)
Real-world notes from building and operating actual projects: Laravel deployment, queue, crontab, supervisor, database query optimization, workflow and debugging on Odoo. Plus a real project-management perspective — writing specs, building test cases, shipping release notes, and estimating so the team runs smoothly and clients understand clearly.

Thinking games and tools that help kids and learners sharpen observation, analysis, and reasoning. The flagship game is Secret Squares (Ô Vuông Bí Mật), exclusively designed by my wife, Thuy An, with an educator's perspective. We built it for our own kids first, then shared it so any child can play and learn.

How I work
I write by one principle: practice first, theory second. If I haven't actually used something, I don't write about it. Every article comes from real work — debugging production, standardizing team processes, using AI to shorten a specific step.

Who it's for
Who is this site for?
If your work involves code, projects, or operations — and you want to use AI and tools to move faster while staying confident — chances are you'll find something useful here. atdev.blog is written for:
- Developers who want to boost productivity with AI and supporting tools — code faster, debug cleaner.
- PMs/BAs who want to use AI to write clearer specs, test cases, estimates, and reports.
- Freelancers who want to cut the time spent on repetitive tasks.
- Founders and small businesses who want to optimize their operating workflow without a large team.
- Newcomers to AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and NotebookLM who want to start in the right direction.
- Anyone who needs free developer tools, running right in the browser, no sign-up required.
- Parents and learners interested in logic games and tools that sharpen observation and reasoning.
You do not need to be an expert to read this. I try to write so beginners can follow, while experienced folks still find something they can use right away.
The road ahead
Vision
I want atdev.blog to become a hands-on library of AI workflows, developer tools, and automation — a place IT professionals and small businesses can return to whenever they need a clear method, a quick tool, or a perspective from someone who's been through real projects.
This is a long-term project. The goal isn't a lot of articles, but content and tools that genuinely save you time. As the platform grows, atdev.blog may expand:
- Ready-to-use templates and checklists for specs, test cases, estimates, and releases.
- Vetted prompt packs, organized by role: dev, PM, BA, founder.
- Workshops and in-depth guides on AI workflow and automation.
- Consulting and hands-on support for teams bringing AI into real operations.
Start anywhere
Read a blog post, try a tool, or let your kids play a round of a logic game — every door leads to something useful. Whether you came for AI workflows, developer tools, or just curiosity, I hope you find something you can really use. And if you'd like to collaborate, I'm always open.
